Set up your PCB for CNC machining
Set PCB material, thickness, metric work origin, machine profile and double-sided alignment before generating CNC toolpaths in CircuitMill.
Material and work coordinates
Select the stock material and thickness, then position the PCB work origin by dragging it in the preview or entering coordinates. All distances use millimetres and the top of the PCB is work Z0.
Two-sided board alignment
Define the flip axis and alignment holes before machining both copper sides. Bottom-side toolpaths reflect around the chosen axis. Re-establish the tool's Z reference after a flip or tool change.
Check machine clearances
Reference profiles cover selected Genmitsu 3018, 3020, 3030 and 4040 variants, with editable settings for clones. Verify available travel and clearances against your actual machine and fixtures.
