Prepare PCB drilling operations
Group PCB holes by diameter, select drill bits and generate metric GRBL drilling paths. Handle straight slots with overlapping drill hits.
Match drills to hole diameters
CircuitMill groups imported holes by diameter. Assign a matching drill to each group or explicitly skip the group. The bundled library includes drill sizes from 0.1 to 3.0 mm.
Straight slots and alignment holes
Straight slotted holes use overlapping peck-drill hits. These leave a scalloped opening rather than a smooth milled slot. Alignment holes can help register double-sided boards.
Tool changes and feeds
Export separate operations for different drills and establish Z0 for every installed tool. Preset feeds are starting estimates, not qualified cutting recipes. Oversized round-hole milling is not implemented.
Enable JavaScript to import boards, generate toolpaths and use the milling console. PCB files are processed locally in your browser.
